Destructible PVC

Label Stock

The Destructible PVC Label Stock is designed specifically for creating highly secure and tamper-evident labels. This white matt base film is engineered to break apart when any attempt is made to remove it, making it impossible to peel off in one piece. This feature makes it an ideal solution for applications where label integrity is critical, such as in anti-counterfeiting measures and tamper-evident seals throughout the supply chain.

Technical Specifications

  • Facestock Material: White matt destructible PVC
  • Adhesive Type: General-purpose high-performance permanent acrylic adhesive
  • Facestock Caliper: 51 µm
  • Liner: Glassine paper, 74 gsm
  • Total Caliper: 183 µm ± 10%
  • Adhesive Weight: 24 g/m²

Performance Characteristics:

  • Initial Tack: 15 N/25mm (FTM9 on glass)
  • Peel Adhesion 180º: 20 N/25mm (FTM1 on Stainless Steel)
  • Destructibility: The label is designed to fragment upon tampering, ensuring that it cannot be removed intact.
  • Printing Methods: Compatible with various printing methods, including laser printing, thermal transfer (testing required), letterpress, offset, flexo, and silk screen printing. Special varnish may be required for thermal transfer printing.

  • Anti-Counterfeiting: Ideal for use in products that require proof of authenticity and tamper evidence.
  • Tamper-Evident Seals: Suitable for applications where secure sealing and clear evidence of tampering are required.
