Glossy White Polyester Label

The Glossy White Polyester Label is a durable, thermal transfer printable material designed for high-performance applications, including electronic PCB identification, barcode labels, rating plates, and solar panel identification. With its glossy white finish and permanent acrylic adhesive, this label stock ensures clear, long-lasting print quality and excellent adhesion, making it ideal for environments requiring durability and resistance to harsh conditions.

Performance Properties

  • High Service Temperature: No visible effect at 110°C for 30 days; slight discoloration at 120°C; moderate discoloration at 145°C, but the label remains functional.
  • Low Service Temperature: No visible effect after 30 days at -70°C.
  • Short-Term High Service Temperature: No visible effect at 180°C for 5 minutes; slight discoloration and shrinkage at 200°C, but the label remains functional; becomes non-functional at 210°C due to shrinkage.
  • Humidity Resistance: No visible effect after 30 days at 100°F (37°C) and 95% relative humidity.
  • UV Light Resistance: No visible effect after 30 days in UV Sunlighter™ 100.
  • Weatherability: No visible effect after 30 days in Xenon Arc Weatherometer.
  • Salt Fog Resistance: No visible effect after 30 days in a 5% salt fog solution chamber.
  • Abrasion Resistance: Print remains legible after 100 cycles with Taber Abraser, CS-10 grinding wheels, 250 g/arm.

  • Bar Code Labels: Ensures high-quality barcodes that remain legible even in demanding conditions.

Shelf Life:

  • Storage Conditions: Shelf life is two years when stored in original packaging at or below 80°F (27°C) and 60% relative humidity.

Chemical Resistance:

The label stock has been tested against various chemicals, showing minimal effects under most conditions, providing a reliable and durable labeling solution in challenging environments.

Adhesion to Various Surfaces:

  • Stainless Steel: 51 oz/inch after 20 minutes, 57 oz/inch after 24 hours
  • Painted Enamel: 51 oz/inch after 20 minutes, 54 oz/inch after 24 hours
  • Textured ABS: 10 oz/inch after 20 minutes, 10 oz/inch after 24 hours
  • Polypropylene: 36 oz/inch after 20 minutes, 39 oz/inch after 24 hours
  • Polyester Powder Coated Paint: 32 oz/inch after 20 minutes, 43 oz/inch after 24 hours
